One beautiful spring day in 1980, a young entrepreneur named Henry Hold tried a new "natural soda" from California which was prominently displayed in a famous Manhattan deli. After sampling several varieties, Henry was convinced that New Yorkers - and everyone else - needed something better. The hot summer was approaching quickly, and on that spring day, Henry set out to create just that - a naturàle soda with superior taste, that was produced with Fructose 90 the premium grade corn sweetner. By the end of the first summer, NATURÀLE90 was receiving favorable write-ups in such prestigious newspapers as the New York Times and positive word-of mouth. By the following year, a very large distributor who carried mostly European products wanted to add this highly acclaimed line of NATURÀLE90 products to their list. In return, they wanted an exclusive arrangement with NATURÀLE90. But Henry didn't want to turn his back on the smaller distributors who had helped get his new product off the ground. He proposed a compromise which allowed both large and small distributors to offer NATURÀLE90. The large distributor was so impressed with Henry's concern for these initial supporters that they agreed to his terms.

NATURÀLE90 continues to be highly respected in the beverage industry because we will not compromise when it comes to developing quality products and sound business relationships. This on-going development process led to the introduction of diet products in 1985 for people who were watching their weight or needed to control sugar in ther diets.
